Of course Trump's a racist. It was a photo op just like his posing with a bible to hide the fact he's anti-Christian.

Correct on all counts.

Well, I suppose an antichrist would be anti-Christian. There's a logic to that.

You ask why he invited them. I ask why they accepted the invitation.

Good stuff, Zuri. As I like to say, ignorance, stupidity, opportunism - they don't discriminate. Neither does self-loathing!

Thank you for putting that out there, Mr. Brown. There are all kinds of people in our world and none of them have a license on intelligence or the lack there of, regardless of skin tone. As a white person, I am ashamed of my fellow citizens who are bending the knee to trump. Sad days for all of us.

I love what you said in your writing. Because my account has been so scammed I have to wait a little while before I can go on a paid basis; however, I will do so just as soon as possible with an account you won’t have to worry about. Keep writing; I will keep reading.

Paula White was behind this. She has made her way up the ladder through black pastors and black congregations.

I grew up in NY. I knew DT Junior. I coached gymnastics at a private school in Manhattan. Most of the kids were well-behaved. He was always whining and crying. Just like his father.

I’ll still stinging from the fact that so many people could not bring themselves to vote for a highly accomplished Black woman with empathy.

I left America during Trump’s first administration as soon as the first European country opened back up during the pandemic. I couldn’t stomach what he was doing to the country. I had no plan. I just got on a plane. I’ve been to a lot of European countries. They are so much less racist than Americans.

I agree with your thoughts. As a white woman, I despise the felon and everything he stands for. No matter what anyone may say he is a racist and a narcissistic misogynist. He hates anyone who does not look like him and his clan. He hates women of any color. That's why it's so disgusting to see women smiling and googling around that fat, ugly baby man.

I agree with your opion. However, greed does not see skin color and everyone in that photo wants something and are willing to sell out others to get it. Most likely money and power.

As I previously wrote, “…It’s entertainment...a 21st-century minstrel show. The original minstrel performers were whites in blackface. Present-day performers are Black people representing the Empire. They are given money, a little power, and position to justify that everything is alright with America’s ex-slaves.”

My first thought was that Mango Mussolini probably served watermelon and fried chicken at the occasion to show how in-touch he is with the culture.

They’re not black people. They’re white people in black skin. Look, they’re laughing.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I’ve come to know many Black and Brown individuals, both men and women (excluding Latines), who made the difficult choice to vote for Trump because they felt that Kamala Harris didn’t align with their conservative beliefs. A significant factor for many was the Biden administration’s position on transgender equality and its strong support for Ukraine and Israel, especially during tough times with rising inflation. While I didn't support the Biden administration myself, many of us felt compelled to stand up for democracy and equality. Unfortunately, it seems that a more supremacist and conservative viewpoint has taken precedence.

I truly appreciate your openness in writing about these issues. It can be incredibly challenging to confront the reality that people can sometimes turn against their own. Personally, it takes a lot for me to feel deep sadness, but witnessing the regression our country has faced is heartbreaking and brings me a sense of despair. I empathize with others who share this struggle and hope for a better path forward.

Those who didn’t vote for Harris threw away their country and quite likely their health and livelihood over trans rights, support for our ally Ukraine, and turning Gaza into a trump hotel by throwing out or murdering Palestinians. Happy now?

Great point, but do we need a long lecture for the choir?

“It was just a photo op!”

‘Nuff said.

Is anyone not in the choir going to read it at all, let alone to the end.
